MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – Belarus will resume charter flights to Montenegro on 1 July, the National Union of Travel Organizations informs with reference to the travel company - the consolidator of the charter flight program, BelTA has learned.
Earlier, Belarusian tour operators had plans to resume charter flights to Montenegro from 16 June. Now a decision has been taken to start flights to Tivat, a resort on the shores of the Bay of Kotor on the Adriatic Sea, from 1 July.
On 1 June, Montenegro opened its borders to citizens from 130 countries. Entry is allowed for citizens of the countries where the rate of active COVID-19 cases is under 25 per 100,000 people.
Montenegro is one of the most popular European holiday destinations for Belarusians. According to the Belarusian Statistics Committee, 17,354 Belarusians holidayed in this country in 2019.
As it has been reported, charter flights from Belarus to Albania are scheduled to resume on 12 June, to Turkey – on 12 July.
