Belarus sets quota distribution for electric vehicle imports in 2026

MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – Belarus has established the distribution of the quota for electric vehicle imports for 2026. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, the government’s press service told BelTA.

The resolution provides for the allocation of a tariff quota for the import of motor vehicles with electric engines into Belarus among legal entities and individuals. In particular, the number of electric motor vehicles imported under the preferential quota in 2026 may not exceed 13,800 units for legal entities and 6,200 units for individuals.
