MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) - Belarusian Culture Minister Anatoly Markevich met with Ambassador of Israel to Belarus Alex Goldman Shayman in Minsk on 16 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Culture Ministry.
"The parties agreed to draw up a joint plan of events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states, and expressed interest in holding high-level events to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day," the ministry said.
The parties also discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in culture.
