Belarus improves approaches to administrative procedures
MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) - The Belarusian government has improved approaches to carrying out administrative procedures. The corresponding resolution was signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the government press service.
The resolution was prepared as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 5 of 9 January 2026 “On Amending Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus on Issues Related to the Implementation of Administrative Procedures”. For the purpose of comprehensive legal regulation and reducing the volume of legal documents, the provisions of four government resolutions regulating public relations in administrative procedures have been consolidated.
The resolution provides for an increase in the number of administrative procedures for which applications and decisions are processed through the “one-stop-shop” service, as well as administrative procedures for which applications can be submitted electronically through the unified e-services portal.
Additionally, the use of information resources (systems) by authorized bodies to request documents and data when carrying out administrative procedures has been expanded. The procedure for using the “one-stop-shop” software system to organize the implementation of administrative procedures has been established.
