Belarus, Dubai aim to expand tourist exchanges

MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) - Belarusian Consul General in Dubai Aleksei Zhaldybin held a meeting with Hoor Alkhaja, Senior Vice President of International Operations at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Dubai.

The meeting discussed issues related to developing bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and expanding tourist exchanges.

The Emirati side noted the significance of Belarusian tourist traffic for the emirate of Dubai and expressed its readiness to provide all-round assistance to further increase it, as well as to inform Belarusian partners about the current situation and opportunities for developing tourism ties.

The two parties also explored opportunities for practical cooperation between the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Belarus’ National Tourism Agency, including joint events, experience exchange, and closer ties between specialized organizations.
