Belarus concerned about Brussels' support for neo-Nazis in Ukraine, Kiev's intention to join NATO
MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) - Belarus is concerned about Brussels' support for neo-Nazis in Ukraine and Kiev's intention to join NATO, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
"Belarus and the European Union have different views on the essence and causes of the situation in Ukraine. Belarus is gravely concerned about Brussels' support for neo-Nazis and the nationalist policy of Ukraine's political leadership, the expansion of NATO and Kiev's intention to become a member of this organization," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
At the same time, the ministry noted that there are many sensible politicians in the EU countries, who, like Belarus, are in favor of the speediest peaceful settlement. Belarus continues to provide all possible assistance to ordinary people affected by the conflict, including a possibility for children to stay in health camps where they have access to education and medical care.
