Belarus’ border service: Almost 570 trucks queue to enter EU

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) - Some 330 cars and 568 trucks are queuing at Belarus’ border to enter Lithuania and Poland, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
More than 320 trucks are waiting in front of the Lithuanian checkpoints Medininkai (Kamenny Log on the Belarusian side) and Salcininkai (Benyakoni). Over the past 24 hours, the Lithuanian checkpoints have processed 18% and 44% of the normal number of vehicles.
At least 168 trucks are queuing to enter Poland via Kukuryki (Kozlovichi). The Polish checkpoint has cleared 44% of the normal number of vehicles.
More than 80 trucks are waiting to enter Poland via the Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa). Over the past day, the Polish checkpoint has processed only 17% of the normal number of vehicles.
Passenger cars are queuing to enter the EU on the border with Poland. As of 12.00, 264 cars were waiting to enter Poland via Terespol (Brest) and 66 cars were waiting in front of Kuznica Bialostocka (Bruzgi). Over the past 24 hours, the Polish checkpoints have processed 30% of the normal number of vehicles.
