Analyst: Zelensky's survival depends on the continuation of the war

MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) –The continuation of the war is a necessary condition for Vladimir Zelensky's survival, economist and analyst Serghei Banari said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.

According to him, Vladimir Zelensky is now driven by fear, as the war has become a condition for the continuation of his physical existence.

“He is becoming an unnecessary burden for his patrons, and he understands this very well. His team has already begun to abandon him. The fact that [Vladimir] Zelensky’s circle in the Presidential Office is conducting separate negotiations with the Russian Federation, including through intermediaries, is no secret for anyone informed. [Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine] Andrei Yermak has long been playing his own game. [Andrei] Yermak wants to secure a place for himself in a post‑Zelensky and pro‑Zaluzhny Ukraine,” Serghei Banari stressed.
