Amendments to real estate registration take effect in Belarus

 

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarus is adopting the principle of full extraterritoriality for state registration of real estate. The corresponding resolution of the State Property Committee of 5 February 2026 came into force on 1 March 2026, the State Property Committee’s press service told BelTA.

“Applications and documents can be submitted to any territorial state registration office, regardless of the location of the property. All registration actions will be performed at the location where the applicant applies,” the press service explained.
