120th Mechanized Brigade units taking part in battalion exercise

MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – A battalion-sized tactical exercise for units of the 120th Independent Guards Mechanized Brigade is taking place in the 227th combined-arms military exercise area, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

The personnel are expected to occupy a blocking line in addition to looking for, blocking, and eliminating simulated enemy units in their responsibility area while doing target practice using live ammunition.

In order to ensure effective destruction of the simulated enemy, a tank squad, mortar units, and combat engineers have been detached. Reconnaissance is provided by unmanned aerial vehicles.
