Lukashenko: We must create all conditions for women to have children

MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Everything must be done to make women happy, and a woman’s happiness lies in children, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he heard a report on the draft decree on in vitro fertilization on 20 March, BelTA has learned.
“Of course, children are sacred. You know my attitude towards children. Therefore, as president, and you as my subordinates, we must do everything (and not only during the Year of the Belarusian Woman) to make women happy. And what happiness does a woman have if she has no children? Our women’s happiness lies in children,” the head of state emphasized.
The president noted that the state must take all necessary measures and create all the conditions for women to be able to have children. “This is what matters, both for the Year of the Woman and for the rest of her life. So let us proceed from this,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
