MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Egypt President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi as the country celebrates Revolution Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
According to the head of state, thanks to perfect leadership, Egypt is confidently moving forward in its social and economic development and is strengthening its role as a guarantor of regional peace and security. This was successfully demonstrated by Cairo during the settlement of the crisis in Palestine and the situation in Libya, the president stressed.
“It is great to note that Belarus and Egypt have established relations of true friendship and trust, as evidenced by the expansion of bilateral cooperation in industry, agriculture, science, education and culture, mutual support in the international arena,” the message of greetings reads.
