Lukashenko sends Republic Day greetings to Italy

 

MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the people of Italy as the country celebrates Republic Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Belarusians know Italy, first of all, as a country with a unique history and culture, amazing nature, cordial and hospitable people who never look away when others suffer,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state remarked that relations between the peoples of Belarus and Italy are an example of sincere friendship relying on a solid foundation. “Together, we have built strong and multifaceted ties in various areas. I am confident that despite the distance and the difficult geopolitical situation, we will remain good partners committed to developing comprehensive cooperation,” the president said.
