Lukashenko receives closed-door briefing from defense minister

MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – On 13 August, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko received a closed-door briefing from Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

The briefing addressed the following issues: preparations for the forthcoming Belarus-Russia joint strategic military exercise Zapad 2025, the current operational situation along Belarus’ border, and the nation’s preparedness to address security threats.
