MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – It is impossible to dodge army draft in Belarus without a valid reason. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement while talking to reporters on 3 June, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that a true man has to know how to protect his family if necessary. “If, god forbid, a war happens and your husband cannot protect you and your home. Why would you want a man, who cannot tell a pistol from an assault rifle?” he wondered.
The head of state also noted that it is impossible to delay enlistment and get a military service card in Belarus without a legitimate reason.
