Lukashenko about complicated global situation: Everything will be fine

MOSCOW, 9 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed hope for the normalization of the complex and tense situation in the world. The president made the statement to journalists in Moscow on 9 May, BelTA has learned.
One of the journalists wondered whether the president feels calm despite everything going on.
“I have always been calm. And especially today. Everything will be fine. Everyone wants to live. No matter how you journalists present this various material from all sides, everyone wants to live. Both Americans and Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians. Therefore, everything will be fine. Life is the basis,” the head of state is convinced.

When asked about the weapons currently at the disposal of the military in Russia and Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “I know your weapons well. Because they are ours as well. We have already added some things to what you have. We have acquired some things from you. Therefore, today we possess a good arsenal of good weapons like never before.”
