Belarus’ president signs decree on production, circulation of alcoholic products
MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 150 “On the production and circulation of alcoholic, non-food alcohol-containing products, and non-food ethyl alcohol,” BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The document is aimed at improving the current system of alcohol imports. The decree approves the membership of and regulations on the Coordination Group for the production and circulation of alcoholic, non-food alcohol-containing products, and non-food ethyl alcohol.
It also approves the regulations on the organization and conduct of competitions to select legal that will exercise the state's exclusive right to import alcoholic beverages. The regulations establish requirements for competition participants, the procedure for submitting bids, their evaluation by the Coordination Group, and the selection of winners.
