MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – Alexander Lukashenko's victory at the Belarus president election is deserved, former presidential candidate Nikolai Ulakhovich told journalists on 12 October, BelTA has learned.
Nikolai Ulakhovich said that he recognizes the election results and believes that the landslide victory of the incumbent president is well-deserved. “We perfectly understand that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is one of the greatest patriots of our country. He once again proved his capabilities and showed that today he is irreplaceable on our Belarusian land,” Nikolai Ulakhovich noted.
“The incumbent president is a leader. He has been the head of state for many years. Alexander Lukashenko has new plans and ideas that defeated our plans and ideas,” the former candidate pointed out.
“I hope that my work was not in vain either,” Nikolai Ulakhovich said and added that some ideas from his election program can be used for the benefit of the country.
