Tajikistan president, CSTO chief discuss situation in Central Asia

MOSCOW, 18 October (BelTA) - Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon met with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Stanislav Zas who is on a visit to Dushanbe, CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zainetdinov told BelTA.

"The parties discussed the situation in the Central Asian region and the situation on the Tajik-Afghan border. Stanislav Zas informed Emomali Rahmon about the preparations for the upcoming session of the Collective Security Council in November in Armenia and the progress in the implementation of a number of certain instructions of the Collective Security Council," the spokesman said.
