Syria interested in early resumption of Belarus diplomatic presence in Damascus

MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) - Syria is interested in the early resumption of full-scale work of the Belarusian Embassy in Damascus. Leader of Syria's new administration Ahmed al-Sharaa stated this interest during a meeting with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov who is on an official visit to Damascus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

“The leader of Syria has indicated interest in the earliest possible resumption of full-scale work of the Belarusian Embassy in Damascus, for the work of which safe conditions will be created,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
