MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – The situation in Iran and Venezuela was discussed during negotiations between Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and U.S. Special Envoy John Coale in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

John Coale told reporters after the negotiations: “We discussed a great deal of things concerning mutual relations between Belarus and the USA. We also discussed what people in Belarus think about the war in Iran, what people in the USA think about the war in Iran, and how this situation is developing. It is always great to receive an opinion from the president of Belarus. Because it is a totally different opinion in comparison to what we can get in the West. It is of very great value for us. I will definitely pass on everything we’ve discussed today to Washington.”

“We’ve also discussed the situation, what is going on in Venezuela. What is happening in Venezuela and other regions of the world. And how it affects events all over the world. Because in the western hemisphere the situation is very dynamic and is developing rapidly now. There is a great deal of changes,” the U.S. special envoy added.
