MOSCOW, 12 October (BelTA) – Belarus in alliance with Russia can play a huge role in Greater Eurasia, Antonio Fallico, Chairman of Banca Intesa and President of the Conoscere Eurasia Association, said at a press conference dedicated to the upcoming Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona, Italy, due on 28-29 October, BelTA has learned.
Answering the question about the role of Belarus in Greater Eurasia, Antonio Fallico said: “Naturally, Belarus can play a great role if it has good relations with Russia. We believe that the alliance of Russia and Belarus should advance in line with the programs outlined and voiced by the leaders. If this happens, then, of course, the role of Belarus will be very important.”
Antonio Fallico also reminded that the Conoscere Eurasia Association has a cooperation agreement with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to him, this allows the parties to successfully solve emerging problems, including in the economic and phytosanitary spheres.
