MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – The attack on Iran and the killing of the country’s spiritual leader, Ali Khamenei, was a huge mistake on the part of the United States and Israel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Alireza Sanei told journalists on 4 March, BelTA has learned.
“The attack on Iran and the killing of its spiritual leader is an enormous mistake committed by the USA and Israel. His death will inevitably lead to the awakening of a dormant volcano, and our enemies should expect consequences,” Ambassador Alireza Sanei said.
The ambassador stressed that during the attack carried out by the United States and Israel, not only Ali Khamenei was killed, but also members of his family: his wife, daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law. “Our Supreme Leader did not live in a palace; he lived in an ordinary house, like ordinary Iranians. He was not afraid, he did not hide in bomb shelters or leave the country. Instead, he remained at his workplace,” the diplomat noted.
