Ghanaian ambassador: Belarus produces the best agricultural machinery

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – Belarus produces the best agricultural machinery, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ghana to Russia and Belarus concurrently Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah told journalists on 10 April, BelTA has learned.

“Belarus and Ghana have many promising areas of cooperation, including cultural exchange, mechanical engineering and education,” Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah said.

The ambassador noted that Ghana has already purchased 3,000 Belarusian machines. “Belarus produces the best agricultural machinery,” he believes.

Speaking about education, Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah noted that many of his friends studied at a Belarusian medical institute. Belarus is not a completely unfamiliar country for the diplomat either. “I visited here in 1983, back in the days of the Soviet Union,” the Ghanaian ambassador said.

Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah himself studied at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, therefore he speaks Russian quite well. At the same time, he intends to learn the Belarusian language.
