MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – The dates of the parliamentary election have been determined in Belarus. Corresponding information has been published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.
In accordance with President's decree No. 190 of 6 June 2016, the election to the House of Representatives will take place on 11 September 2016. In accordance with President's decree No. 191 of 6 June 2016, the election to the Council of the Republic will take place from18 June to 18 September 2016.
The Central Election Commission will be responsible for the organization of the election and control over the observation of regulations.
The Council of Ministers has been instructed to ensure budget financing of the election campaign.
The decrees enter into force after official publication.
