Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to the Pope

MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Holy See Yuri Ambrazevich presented his credentials to Pope Leo XIV, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Following the official ceremony, the Belarusian ambassador held a meeting with the Holy Father. The meeting discussed intergovernmental issues, including the regional situation, and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation between the Vatican and Belarus at various levels, including humanitarian initiatives and projects in education and culture.
