Belarus-UNDP cooperation discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) – Belarus Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik has met with Alexandra Solovieva, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and UNDP, including the implementation of national development priorities, as well as ways to step up joint efforts to minimize the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic in our country,” the foreign ministry said.

They also agreed to keep working together to achieve Belarus' Sustainable Development Goals, promote a green economy, and rebuild regions affected by the Chernobyl accident.
