Belarus taking part in political forum on sustainable development in New York

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – The national coordinator for reaching the Sustainable Development Goals, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Khomenko is taking part in a high-level political forum on sustainable development under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) in New York, USA, the press service of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament told BelTA.

Within the framework of the forum as one of 36 states the Republic of Belarus will present the third voluntary national review on fulfilling the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. The document reflects progress in securing the Sustainable Development Goals in Belarus in the last few years.
