MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei had a telephone conversation with Member of the Federal Council of Switzerland, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis. The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the Swiss side, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the situation in the Republic of Belarus, the prospects for further development of Belarusian-Swiss relations, and some consular issues.
The parties confirmed their interest in continuing the constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Switzerland.
