MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – On behalf of Belarus Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei signed the Convention on the Facilitation of Border Crossing Procedures for Passengers, Luggage and Load-luggage Carried in International Traffic by Rail in New York, the ministry's press service told BelTA.
The document will make a significant contribution to better transport connections and higher mobility in Eurasia.
During the signing of the convention Vladimir Makei had a brief talk to UN Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs Miguel de Serpa Soares.
