Belarus, Qatar discuss Middle East situation

MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich met with Charge d’Affaires of Qatar in Belarus Hamoud Saleh Al-Saadi on 2 April, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The parties touched upon the situation in the Middle East, as well as prospects for developing cooperation between Belarus and Qatar.

Sergei Lukashevich and Hamoud Saleh Al-Saadi expressed concern over the continued deterioration of the situation in the Middle East and emphasized the importance of an early cessation of hostilities.
