Belarus, Pakistan discuss bilateral events for 2026
MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa held a meeting with Pakistan’s Additional Secretary (Europe) Ayesha Ali on 24 February, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Pakistan told BelTA.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and prospects for the development of Belarus-Pakistan cooperation in political, trade and economic, and other areas. The talks also addressed the implementation of previously reached agreements and the bilateral events planned for 2026.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were established on 3 February 1994. In 2024, Belarus and Pakistan marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations, with both countries hosting events across various fields to highlight achievements in bilateral cooperation.
