Belarus, Kazakhstan strengthen cultural, historical ties

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov met with Director of Kazakhstan’s Presidential Center Bakytzhan Temirbolat, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Astana.

The Belarusian ambassador toured the museum’s exhibitions and multimedia installations, noting the high level of technical sophistication and the modern approaches used to present the evolution of Kazakhstan’s historical statehood.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation in museum exchange and exhibition industry. They also discussed plans for joint initiatives in culture, history, education, and the arts.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged publications focused on historical and cultural themes.
