Belarus' elections 2019: Turnout at 11.51% after two days of early voting

MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – An estimated 11.51% of voters turned out during the two days of early voting ahead of the 17 November parliamentary elections in Belarus. The data was posted on the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus, BelTA has learned.

According to the CEC, 10.58% of voters cast their ballots in Brest Oblast, 12.87% in Vitebsk Oblast, 12.41% in Gomel Oblast, 10.08% in Grodno Oblast, 11.72% in Minsk Oblast, 11.97% in Mogilev Oblast. Turnout in Minsk made up 10.92%.

The voter register includes almost 6.9 million citizens.

Early voting kicked off on 12 November to last through 16 November.
