Belarus-Azerbaijan economic, humanitarian contacts discussed in Baku

MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – Belarus' Ambassador to Azerbaijan Andrei Ravkov met with member of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, head of the parliamentary working group for relations with Belarus, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Friendship Society, academician Ziyad Samadzadeh, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of Belarus-Azerbaijan relations, including cooperation in economy and humanitarian contacts.

Top on the agenda was the resumption of the activities of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Friendship Society that is designed to promote cooperation in science, culture, business, trade and economy.
