Belarus’ ambassador discusses bilateral cooperation with head of UN Office in Nairobi
MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Dmitry Krasovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya and Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), met with Zainab Hawa Bangura, UN Under-Secretary-General and Director-General of the UN Office at Nairobi on 10 March, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the agenda of upcoming multilateral events within the framework of Belarus’ chairmanship of the regional Eastern European Group at UN international organizations in Nairobi,” the ministry said.
Additionally, the focus was on development plans for the UN Office until 2028, as well as the functioning of the advisory board for infrastructure projects of the UN Office.
