Belarus, Algeria agree to step up interagency cooperation

MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt and concurrently to Algeria Yevgeny Sobolevsky has presented his credentials to Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The parties discussed the preparations for the upcoming Belarusian-Algerian events at various levels.
The meeting highlighted the positive trend of the growing Belarusian-Algerian cooperation in trade and economy. The parties agreed to step up contacts between the relevant ministries and agencies and to expand the legal framework.

The parties also noted the effective cooperation between their foreign ministries, both bilaterally and on international track.
