Eastern Orthodox believers mark the Intercession of the Theotokos, or the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary on 14 October. A special church service dedicated to this feast was held at the Cathedral of the Theotokos in Vitebsk. The service was administered by Archbishop of Vitebsk and Orsha Dmitry.
