Osveya, Belarus’ northernmost urban settlement 

The urban settlement is located in the very north of Belarus in Verkhnedvinsk District. Tourists are attracted by its natural beauty and historical and cultural landmarks: a lake that is second only to Naroch in size, Belarus’ largest island called Du, ruins of an 18th-century palace, Belarus’ northernmost religious building - the wooden church of the Great Martyr George the Victorious.
