Miniature exhibition debuts at Vitebsk museum

The exhibition titled as Magical World of Miniatures has opened at the Museum of Private Collections, a branch of the Vitebsk Oblast Museum of Local History. The exhibition features miniature dolls. These are tiny, detailed replicas of household items, furniture, accessories, and interiors (known as room boxes), capturing the originals with remarkable precision. The museum’s collection also includes room boxes – miniature rooms where visitors can view entire living spaces, interior fragments, or individual pieces of furniture. Visitors will be able to explore dollhouses in the Victorian style, interiors from the 16th century, as well as the castle from the animated film Beauty and the Beast.
