Hero of the Soviet Union Maria Osipova commemorated in Minsk

On 5 May, in the run-up to the Victory Day celebra-tions, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Re-public of Belarus Andrei Shved, along with judges and staff of the Supreme Court, honored the memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Maria Osipova, a judge of the Supreme Court of the BSSR, leader of one of the first underground organizations in Minsk temporarily occupied by Nazi German troops, and laid  flowers at her grave at the Vostochnoye Cemetery in Minsk.
