Belarus and Russia have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of visas. The agreement also addresses other matters relating to the entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the territory of the signatory countries of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. The document was signed by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov after negotiations in Minsk.
