Stratcom Summit 2026 to kick off Friday in Istanbul
ISTANBUL, 26 March (BelTA - Anadolu) - The International Strategic
Communication Summit (Stratcom Summit) 2026 will bring together senior
officials from 38 countries to discuss the war in the Middle East and
pressing questions facing the international system.
Organized by
Türkiye's Directorate of Communications, the two-day summit, which runs
March 27-28, will be attended by Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz,
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and National Intelligence Organization
President Ibrahim Kalin. Eleven ministers from 10 countries will be
among more than 60 top officials who will attend the summit.
Anadolu is the global communication partner of the event.
Under
the theme “Disruption in the International System: Crises, Narratives,
and the Search for Order,” the summit will examine structural
disruptions in the global system, resulting crises, and diverse regional
approaches to restoring international stability.
On social
media, Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran said: "As the
Directorate of Communications, our goal is to foster international
cooperation and engage collective wisdom by using the power of strategic
communication. This summit is not just a meeting; it is a strong
declaration of will toward solving global issues."
He emphasized
communication as a key tool in crisis management and building lasting
solutions. "With the STRATCOM Summit organized in line with the vision
of our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we aim to develop a common
language for global issues, strengthen dialogue channels, and contribute
to the construction of a more just international system. We
wholeheartedly believe that this strong voice rising from İstanbul will
contribute to peace and stability in the world."
The summit will
examine not only structural changes in the international system amid
rising geopolitical tensions, economic volatility, and multilayered
crises, but also intensifying global narrative competition.
