Peatland fire-fighting operation in Petrikov District

GOMEL, 26 July (BelTA) – An operation to extinguish a peat fire in Petrikov District, Gomel Oblast continues. At present the area under fire equals 85 hectares. About 80 firefighters and forestry workers as well as 23 vehicles have been deployed to fight the fire.
