Mating season for deer in Belovezhskaya Pushcha
GRODNO, 22 September (BelTA) - The red deer mating season in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park usually begins in September. During this period, stags gather harems which can consist of 2 to 20 hinds. The roaring deer makes a variety of sounds to attract a partner.
