Enchanting snowy scenery in Vitebsk Oblast

This year, winter in all regions of Belarus is not just on the calendar: for more than two weeks the country has been blanketed in snow, with temperatures rapidly dropping below -25°C. And although the frosts bring certain challenges for motorists and public utility workers, this season will be remembered for a long time.

Snow-covered trees bound by frost, rooftops draped in fluffy snow, and delicate frost patterns on windows – the beauty of the Belarusian winter captured in the lens of BelTA’s photographer.
