The chalk pit of the Building Materials Plant (branch No. 6 Lyubansky KSM of Belarusian Cement Plant) is inactive. The chalk quarry to obtain lime for the manufacture of bricks was opened in 1979 and was mined until 1999. The depth of the quarry reaches 30 meters in some places.
