MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – A taskforce will be established to develop the strategy for creating fifth-generation (5G) mobile communications networks in Belarus. The taskforce will be established in line with the prime minister's executive order No.585r of 20 November 2019, BelTA has learned.
The taskforce will have to come up with comprehensive proposals concerning the model to set up 5G networks by 2 March 2020. The proposals will be forwarded to the head of state then.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin has been appointed chairman of the taskforce.
