Stronger positive effect of Eurasian Economic Union for ordinary citizens noted

MOSCOW, 2 September (BelTA) – Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich and Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko met the other day. During the meeting they mentioned a stronger positive effect of the Eurasian Economic Union for citizens of the member states, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission told BelTA.

Mikhail Myasnikovich and Valentina Matviyenko expressed satisfaction with the progressive advancement of integration processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the growing positive effect of the union for ordinary citizens.

Mikhail Myasnikovich and Valentina Matviyenko discussed matters concerning the development of the Eurasian Economic Union and the operation of the Eurasian Economic Commission. It was noted that the commission does a lot of work to deepen integration ties between the member states.

It was stressed that the union is gradually evolving into a key mechanism for defending economic interests of the Eurasian Economic Union member states in the international scene.
