Short-term household deposits in Belarusian banks up 3.3% in February 2026

MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) - Short-term ruble deposits of individuals in Belarusian banks amounted to Br16.2 billion as of 1 March 2026, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Bank.

In February, they increased by Br520.4 million, or 3.3%.

In 2025, household deposits in banks grew by 39.5%, and by 3.3% in January 2026.
